Infor’s data scientists showcase the power of their work at Inforum 2016
One thing that makes Inforum 2016 special is that it’s the first major Infor event where customers, partners, analysts, and other attendees get a chance to see some of great the work being done by Infor Dynamic Science Labs (IDSL).
IDSL launched in September 2014, and since then Dr. Ziad Nejmeldeen, senior vice president and chief scientist, has built an impressive team of scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and economists. Now IDSL is making a tremendous impact on the development of Infor products across several industries.
Using machine learning and science to solve tough business problems, IDSL researchers work in close collaboration with our customers in healthcare, distribution, retail, financial services, and other sectors. Their work with the investment firm Lord Abbett, the subject of a recent article, highlights new ways that data-infused technology is helping businesses stay relevant and competitive in a rapidly changing world.
At Inforum, IDSL directors Leigh Martin and Vibhu Walia and senior scientist Kathleen King are leading a number of information and education sessions. They’ll cover subjects such as how data optimizations can drive strategic decision making, applying machine learning to better manage the healthcare supply chain, and using location sensor data and predictive analytics to improve customer experience, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
Visit the Inforum session catalog to secure your spot for these sessions—and see everything that’s happening at Inforum this year. Beyond data science, you’ll discover dozens of topics critical to the future of work, hundreds of opportunities for learning and inspiration, and countless chances to engage Infor’s brightest and most talented people.
